Holy Week and Easter 2026

Be part of the journey to the cross and resurrection through Holy Week and Easter this year. We have a variety of services and resources to enable you to connect with Jesus and hear again of his saving love for us.
29th March - Palm Sunday
Online @9 and 10:30am in church (with Creche, Junior Church and Youth)
Holy Week begins as Jesus enters Jerusalem hailed by the crowd as King.
2nd April - Maundy Thursday
Communion 8pm in Church
We recall the events of the last supper, Jesus' final meal with his friends, and then into the Garden of Gethsemane ending our time in darkness.
3rd April - Good Friday
10:30am Family Service followed by Hot Cross Buns
A 45 minute service exploring the Good Friday Story suitable for all ages.
2pm An Hour at the Cross
Jesus' final hour told through scripture and silent prayer. Hear a section of the Good Friday narrative followed by an extended time of silence for prayer and reflection.
Saturday 4th April
6.00pm Easter Vigil *renewed for 2026*
We begin with the kindling of a new fire and lighting the Easter candle out in the church yard before bringing the new light into church. We'll then listen to God's saving acts in the Old Testament before church is transformed and filled with light as we begin our Easter celebrations and renew our baptism vows together. The service is suitable for ages 7 and up and features music from our choir.
5th April - Easter Sunday
Online @9 live on Facebook from 8:50am and 10:30am Family Service in Church.
Join us Online or in Church as we celebrate that Jesus is alive!
Expect fun, joy and praise, with communion at 10:30am and music led by our band, and family focussed teaching.
Open Afternoon 2-4pm
Come and explore our building, hear the stories behind the building and chance to check out places like the crypt that are not usually open to the public.
