Lent 2025
Lent Notices slide (2160 × 108

Lent is a season where we look to focus on growing in our relationship with Jesus often by taking on a new spiritual discipline or giving up something to help us grow. As a church we are going to focus on prayer, how we grow our own prayer rhythms, praying for one another, and praying together.

Services
Lent begins on Ash Wednesday (5th March) and we have two services at 11am and 8pm in church with communion, teaching and 'ashing' (tradition of a small ash cross drawn on your forehead).

Sunday Teaching
Each week we are looking at Prayer in the life of Jesus and thinking about about how to develop our own rhythms and patterns pray as that daily connection point between us and God as a result. Expect lots of practical ideas and chance to try them out along the way. Missed a week? you can catch up here on our website

Weekly Prayer Together
Each Thursday evening in Lent at 8pm we are gathering on Zoom to pray Compline (night prayer) together. We want to gather people together from right across our church family to grow in praying together as a church and for our world.  Approx. 20 mins. The Zoom link will be circulated in our weekly email. Click here to sign up if you don't receive this already.

Mid-week Groups
We have a variety of small groups meeting together in person, online or via Whatsapp to study Pete Greig's book 'How to Hear God: a simple guide for normal people'. Click here to find out more or to join a group.
