St Mary’s Players is a amateur  dramatic society which is part of St Mary’s Church Hanwell.

our last  event was a Murder Mystery evening : ' The Murder of the Pop Star'

a  succesful light hearted evening  where the audience, after watching the short play, has to guess ' Who Dunnit'.

The action was set in the 1980s so there are plenty of references to song titles of that period, for those who remember it fondly!

the proceeds from the evening went  to one of the charities  the Church supports -  a children's home in Harare, Zimbabwe

thanks to those who took part and supported us

there won't be a May prodcution this time, but watch this space for details of our Christmas pantomime

We welcome new members- whether interested in acting or working behind the scenes on set-building or design, stage management, make-up, costumes, administration, front-of house; or just supporting.

We usually put on two productions a year- in early December (typically a pantomime) and in mid May. Performances  take place at St Mary’s Church Hall W7 and any surplus from a production may be used to help improve equipment and facilities at the Church Hall. For each production we nominate a charity to support. Concessionary prices are often given to Cubs, Scouts, Brownies & Guides and other local groups.
