CHRISTMAS PANTOMIME 2018

come and enjoy our traditional pantomime - cheer on the heroes and boo the villains!

(if you'd like to order tickets, see below)

The St Mary's Players are planning to do ALADDIN by Ben Crocker as their Christmas pantomime.  It will be directed by Alan Browne, supported by Derek Stoddart.  The performance dates will be 29th and 30th November and 1st December.

There are a lot of ways you could be involved if you would like to be including: acting, costumes, set building, stage management, props, prompt, music, refreshments etc.  If you would like to be involved in any way, please email Alan Browne (email: alan.browne@gmail.com) or talk to Derek Stoddart or Mark Cosstick at church and they can answer any questions you might have.

If you are interested in acting, we are holding a casting reading at 8.00pm on Thursday 13th September. Venue to be advised.  If you are interested in a part, but for some reason you can't come that evening, please let Alan or Derek know and they will arrange to meet up with you at a different time.  Please be aware that those who are acting will need to be at rehearsals on Thursdays 8.00 to 10.00pm and Sundays 5.30 to 7.30 starting on Thursday 27th September."

We welcome new members- whether interested in acting or working behind the scenes on set-building or design, stage management, make-up, costumes, administration, front-of house; or just supporting.

We usually put on two productions a year- in early December (typically a pantomime) and in mid May. Performances  take place at St Mary’s Church Hall W7 and any surplus from a production may be used to help improve equipment and facilities at the Church Hall. For each production we nominate a charity to support. Concessionary prices are often given to Cubs, Scouts, Brownies & Guides and other local groups.

For more information contact Mark Cosstick.
